Description

This course builds on the teachings in Human-Centered Design for Work at a Distance: Toolbox Essentials. We recommend you complete it before enrolling in this course. One of the benefits of acquiring human-centered design skills is that they are extremely versatile. Once mastered, they can be applied at an individual, team or organizational level, to support product design, team communications, problem solving, customer experience and more. In Human-Centered Design for Work at a Distance: Prototype Solutions , you will deepen your knowledge of human-centered design, combine the tools learned in Human-Centered Design for Work at a Distance: Toolbox Essentials, and learn a problem-solving methodology to propose solutions for real-world people who need to transform how they work at a distance. Continue to learn from guest speakers from a range of industries, work with, and receive feedback on a real case study, and build a case study based on a real person in your community that you could support. Initiate and implement your own design process to help improve or re-invent that individual or organization’s work/business.
